inexpensive streaming device, and arguably the best. Before you start casting
anything, the internet offers, you’ll need to set up it on your device. The setup
procedure is generally uncomplicated and intuitive; here are the clear steps to
set it up.
Initial setup you’ve
to do:
• Insert the Chromecast in the HDMI port of
your TV.
• Connect the Chromecast device with the same
Wi-Fi network.
• Now, install the Google Home app in your
Android or iOS device.
How
to Set Up a New Google Chromecast with Android Device
1. Plug in your Chromecast into the HDMI port
of the TV.
2. Now, connect the Chromecast to the power
source.
If the TV already has a USB port, then you can plug the
Chromecast’s USB cable into it to power your Chromecast. Otherwise, you have to
use the wall adapter to plug it into the power board.
3. Now, power on your TV.
4. Press ‘Source or Input’ button to change
the HDMI input.
5. Select the HDMI to which your Chromecast is
connected.
6. Now, take your Android device and open
settings.
7. Go to ‘Wi-Fi’ and select the same home
network that you want to use with your Chromecast.
8. Connect to the Wi-Fi network.
9. Now, open ‘Play Store.’
10. Type ‘Google Home’ in the search field.
11. Select ‘Google Home’ from searches.
12. Tap ‘Install’ and grant permission.
13. Wait and tap ‘Open.’
14. Now, tap ‘Devices’ in the Home app.
15. Tap ‘Allow,’ if prompt.
16. Tap your Chromecast in Devices.
17. Tap ‘SET UP’ button and wait for
Chromecast to connect.
18. Verify the code appear on the screen. It
should match with your TV’s.
19. Enter a name for your Chromecast.
20. Choose the same ‘Wi-Fi network’ you want
to use with the Chromecast.
21. If, prompts to enter the Wi-Fi password,
enter the password.
Once it connects, now you can use YouTube, Netflix, Hulu or any
other compatible app to play music or videos on your Google Chromecast.

1. Plug in your Chromecast into the HDMI port
