How to Setup Multiple Email Addresses in Gmail
Here is how you can make your another Gmail addresses besides
your existing one. You might want a new email address to separate personal mail
from business mail, or to use one for a club or hobby. There are no
restrictions on how many accounts you can have. To know more about the
procedure, follow these simple methods and its steps:
Creating a new
Gmail account on Computer
- Launch your web browser and then type gmail.com in the search
bar. Then press the enter key, and you will be directed to your Gmail
accounts inbox if you had not logged out from it.
- In case you haven’t signed in to your account, enter your
Google ID and password.
2. Then tap on your profile located at the upper-right edge of
your account’s inbox page. After hitting your profile, a pop-out menu will show
on your screen.
- In case you still have not setup your profile image, the
foremost character of your first name will appear in place of your profile
image.
3. Now hit on “Add Account” option present at the lowermost left
side of the pull-down menu. After this action, a new window will open.
4. Then press the “More options” tab situated to the left-hand
side of the blue-colored Next tab.
5. Now hit on the “Create account” option located near the “More
options” link.
6. Just provide all the information to create a fresh account
like:
- Your full name, e.g., first & last one, a passcode for your
profile, your gender, DOB, your contact number, your location, and
obviously your current email address.
7. Here, you have to tap on “Next Step” button located at the
lowermost edge of the page.
8. Then you have to confirm all the details provided by the
terms and conditions of Google by tapping the “I agree” button at the lower
portion of the screen.
9. Now tap “ Continue to Gmail” button located at the central
part of your account creation page.
10. Here you will see that your new account has been linked to
the existing account. You may switch between these two accounts by tapping on
one of them after navigating to your profile icon located at the top-right edge
of your accounts page. When you click on your profile icon, a pull-down will
appear and enable you to toggle your account.
