How To Improve PC Performance In Windows 10

Changing the Power Settings
If you wish that your OS works faster, then I personally suggest you go for a Balanced/High-Performance plan. Go through the given below instructions for doing the same.
  1. Firstly, tap on the Windows button.
  2. Then, write the ‘Control Panel.’
  3. After that, tap on Enter.
  4. Next, tap on the pull-down list near View By.
  5. After that, choose Large Icons.
  6. Then, press on Power Options.
  7. Next, select Balanced or High Performance.
  8. Whenever you go for the High-Performance mode, the PC shall take more power. Whereas, choosing the Balanced Performance plan shall help you to make a good balance on performance and energy efficiency.
Turning off Windows Tips and Tricks
  1. Firstly, put the combination of the Windows+I button on the keyboard.
  2. Then, press on System tile.
  3. After that, move to the left-hand side of the display and choose Notifications and Actions.
  4. Next, go to the right-hand side of the screen.
  5. After that, move downwards to the ‘Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows’ part.
  6. Lastly, switch off the toggle.
Removing Bloatware
  1. Firstly, move to the taskbar.
  2. After that, press on the Search symbol.
  3. Then, write ‘Control Panel’ into the search bar.
  4. Next, ensure that the View By has been put to Large Icons.
  5. After that, choose Programs and Features.
  6. Then, search for the programs which you don’t use.
  7. Next, right-click on every program. 
  8. Lastly, press on Uninstall.
Decrease the startup apps
  1. Firstly, go to the Task Manager and put the combination of Control+Shift+Esc.
  2. Then, visit the Startup option.
  3. After that, choose the startup app which you wish to turn off.
  4. Next, tap on Disable.
  5. Do points 3 and 4 for each of the Windows 10 processes which you don’t require at present.
Go for the Disk Cleanup Feature
  1. Firstly, press the combination of the Windows+S button on your keyboard.
  2. Then, write ‘Disk Cleanup’ into the search bar.
  3. After that, tap on Enter.
  4. Whenever the Disk Cleanup window gets displayed, choose the files that you don’t want anymore.
  5. Lastly, tap on OK.
