What to do when your Outlook isn’t opening?


What to do when you are not able to start Microsoft Outlook get it back up and run properly? It is way more easy than you are thinking it to be. Fixing steps can vary as per the version of Outlook that you have installed. Users may see a message of error or may see nothing at all.



If you are on Office 365, then download and use an automated tool for diagnosing and fixing up several issues. Follow these steps:
1.       Launch "Support and recovery Assistant" app.
2.       Run installation.
3.       Support and recovery will itself get started once it is installed.
4.       Agree to "license agreement".
5.       Select Outlook as a plan.
6.       Tap Next.
7.       Tap "Outlook won't start"
8.       Tap Next.
9.       Tap "Yes" and validate that you have been on an affected system.
10.   Tap Next.
11.   Write email address and password for Office 365.
12.   Tap Next.
13.   Wait till app diagnose the issue.
14.   See results when you are done with an assistant.
15.   Follow prompts.
16.   Exit the tool.
17.   Look for suggestions of some other solutions if you can't connect to the issue.
Disable the Add-ins
When you open Outlook in secure form then there can be conflictions. Impair add-ins and check if the matter is settled.
1.       Go to Outlook in Safe Mode.
2.       Tap "File".
3.       Tap "Options".
4.       In the left pane, tap Add-ins.
5.       Ensure that COM Add-ins is selected in Manage box.
6.       Tap Go.
7.       Write and capture a screenshot of the program before disabling them.
8.       Clear selected checkboxes.
9.       Tap Remove.
10.   Tap File and select Exit.
Restore Outlook
●        There may be chances that Outlook app has been damaged. Users can use built-in MS Office repair for fixing it.
Restore "Outlook 2016, 2013 or 2010 in Windows 10"
1.       Shut Down Microsoft Office apps.
2.       Write Apps and Features to search box of Windows.
3.       Choose "Apps and Features".
4.       Discover and tap on "Microsoft Office" in the installed apps list.
5.       Tap Modify.
6.       Tap Yes when you see a window asking if you want to permit this app for making changes to the gadget.
7.       Shut down Online Repair and Tap Repair button.
8.       Start the Outlook again when you are done with the process.
Restore "Outlook 2016, 2013 or 2010 in Windows 8".
1.       Shut down Microsoft Office apps.
2.       Click Right on the Start switch.
3.       Choose Control Panel.
4.       Ensure that the section is chosen.
5.       Tap Uninstall a Program.
6.       Right tap Microsoft Office.
7.       Select Change.
8.       If there is Online Repair, then choose it.
9.       Tap Repair.
10.   Tap Yes if the user account control windows appears.
